Nordstrom Annapolis Presents Beauty & Fashion Extravaganza

Alarm set for 6:00 a.m. on a Saturday morning to attend the Nordstrom Annapolis Beauty & Fashion Extravaganza:  doors opened at 7:30 a.m. and the show started at 8:00 a.m.  Women and men lined up at Nordstrom’s in Annapolis, MD, around 7:15 a.m. this morning.  I wanted to arrive early enough to get good seats.  And, guess what?  I landed two front-row seats—we could reach out and touch.

The ‘School House Rock Band’ provided live entertainment until the fashion show started.  Their songs and sounds were jazzy and fantastic.  The models walked the runway with some trendy spring fashion styles by fashion designers such as Kate Spade, Ted Baker, and Vince Camuto.

The fresh look of makeup presented spring’s hottest reds, to bright cherry, to deep bordeaux, from an opague shade to a sheer one.  The featured vendors were some of my favorites:  Chanel, MAC, Bobbi Brown, Erno Laszio, and the list goes on.  The makeup look this spring is golden days and sultry nights.  Sun-kissed skin and shimmering highlights give that everyday summer look, a healthy, relaxed glow.  Deep copper shadow and rich lip color dial up the drama for evening.  Vendors who sponsored this event presented the raffle-winning attendees with some fabulous gifts. 

 

This is the third Nordstrom Beauty Trend event I have attended.  I cannot think of anything else that I would rather be doing this soggy, Saturday morning.  Beauty is my niche—I love beauty, health, wellness, and fashion.  I am still super excited and cannot wait until the next event.  Nordstrom’s Beauty Trend events are always fun, entertaining, and true overviews of current beauty and fashion trends.
